Good morning, hope your week was good. I’m writing this post a little later than usual, but wanted to share that the second annual Global Forum presented by the U.S Chamber took place earlier in the week. If you weren’t able to catch it — I only participated in a portion (watch/tweet) of each and haven’t caught up — you can watch the replay for Day 1 and Day 2.

Again, thank you so much to anyone who’s purchased That’s Just My Baby Daddy! 12 Men Who’ve Contributed Greatly to Society. It really means a lot. She Sells Seashells by the Seashore, my next book in the Notable People in History series is still scheduled for August 26.

I would love if you’d decide to shop with me at beYOUteous my eCommerce store offering a line of handcrafted beaded jewelry which aims to spread the message for embracing individuality, feminine strength, and empowerment. Use promo code 15CART2022 to save 15% off your purchase.

Still need these as reminders:

  • I will need God’s spirit to empower me.
  • I will need God’s word to guide me.
  • I will need God’s people to support me.
  • I will never become what God wants me to be without intention.
  • You choose what you focus on.
  • What do I want to learn in the next 3 years?.
  • What am I going to commit to become in the next 3 years?
  • What am I going to contribute in the next 3 years?
  • What am I going to do with my life in the next 3 years?

Steps I’m putting in practice:

  • Write my goals on a prayer list and pray for them daily.
  • Ask God to show me the steps that I need to take to accomplish them.
  • Ask myself why I haven’t accomplished them already.
  • To help in determining what next steps to take with goals, draw a ladder to help visualize the next steps needed to take.
  • Take baby steps daily.

Lastly, you can shop my photography and digital work on Society6 and FineArtAmerica.

I’m re-reading the Bible with intention, moved on to the book of Hebrews (10 verses a day, normally). Started listening to “Lincoln” by David Herbert again (along with Securities Analysis by Benjamin Graham and David Dodd), Benjamin Franklin: An American Life by Walter Isaacson and “Ghandi: The Years That Changed The World” by Ramachandra Guha remain on the backburner for now.

That’s it for this week. Head over for this week’s beYOUteous post “Annie Turnbo: Founder of Poro College & Pioneer Manufacturer of Cosmetics Products.”

If you missed last Friday’s Medium post, you can find it at “Captain’s log, stardate 99942.77
